We tried a new place this weekend for Lauren’s 4 month pictures, Portrait Innovations, and really liked it! They took about 100 pictures and we got some really cute ones! Here’s 1 of our favorites, you can see the rest of the ones we ordered in the gallery.

Lauren did MUCH better with her shots this time!! She only cried for a minute or so, until mommy picked her up and cuddled her. The crying stopped immediately and I got a smile through the tears when I started singing her “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”, her absolute FAVORITE song, it always gaurantees a smile!
Her new stats are as follows (she’ll be 4 months tomorrow, 1/27):
Weight: 13lb 2oz, 45th percentile
Length: 23.5″, 25th percentile
Head: 75th percentile
So far it looks like she’s going to be “petite” (just a nice word for short!) like her mommy. Her pediatrician was very happy with her growth and she has met all her milestones! She’s grabbing toys and playing with them, rolling from tummy to back (started that 2 weeks ago), tracks objects 180 degrees, coos, etc. Her pediatrician also recommended that we start rice cereal as at 4 months, their iron stores are depleted and they need the extra iron that cereal provides. So, here are some pics of her first taste of cereal (first thing she’s ate besides breastmilk!):

We have her 4month professional pictures this Saturday, we’re trying somewhere new and I can’t wait to see how they turn out…hopefully it goes well! We’ll post them as soon as we can!

Lauren has her 4month well baby visit on Thursday, I’ll be sure to post her new weight and length. I weighed her a few weeks ago and she was 13.5, so we’ll see! Here are a few pics from yesterday, there are more in the gallery.
